Our story

Built from a real ship’s bones.

Since August 2003, Theo Kakouras has run Elkin’s most unmistakable restaurant — a dining hall raised from antique planking and 200-year-old beams that once served on the St. Lawrence Seaway.

The ship is real. Four decks, eleven rooms, every one of them different.
Family fun, not fuss. Kids get pirates; parents get prime rib.
A local fixture. Two decades on Interstate Way, minutes from downtown Elkin.
